Adrienne Payne and Barry Wolmetz were married on Jan. 5, 2008, at St. Joseph Church in New London, with the Rev. Joseph Castaldi officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Keith and Donna Payne of Waterford. The maid of honor was Erica Payne, sister of the bride, the bridesmaids were Amy Bishop and Allison Marinan.

The best man was Guiliano Cirillo, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were David Robinson, friend of the groom, and Matthew Payne, brother of the bride.

Also participating in the ceremony was reader Erin LaRuffa and gift bearers Olivia Godin and Courtney Payne, cousins of the bride. The reception was held at the Groton Inn and Suites.

Adrienne graduated from Waterford High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from St. Joseph College in West Hartford. She is attending the Goodwin College in East Hartford and is employed by the Ambulance Service of Manchester.

Barry is a 1996 graduate of Wethersfield High School. He is employed by American Medical Response as an EMT. He is a volunteer with the Avon Fire Department.

They reside in Avon.
