    One last Rock Crustacean

In a truly inane song, Paul Simon wrote about 50 ways to leave your lover — and then only lists 5 of them. Frankly, 1 of those “ways” — telling Stan to “make a new plan” — doesn’t really qualify as leaving.

Well, let’s move on. There similarly must be 52 ways to say farewell to the paradigmatic party band The B-52s. Indeed, the ultra-giddy folks who brought you “Rock Lobster,” “Love Shack,” “Planet Claire” and more are saying goodbye. Their farewell tour arrives tonight at the Premier Theater in Foxwoods.

Don’t expect much in the way of new songs. The band’s only released one album in the last 30 years. That one was called … well, I can’t remember, and probably neither can the B-52s.

Who cares? They’ll bring hits and that’s almost all you need to know.

Anything else? Yes, KC & the Sunshine Band open the show.

And one more thing. When the B-52s have played their last encore at Foxwoods, don’t expect them to hang around. They’re going to slip out the back, Jack.

    The B-52s, 7:30 p.m. tonight, Premier Theater, Foxwoods; $75-$125; www.foxwoods.com.
