Duo plays Westerly in attempt to set touring record

Musical duo Devon Allman and Donavon Frankereiter perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the United Theatre in Westerly.
It’s the second show of their “See It All American Tour,” during which the pair hopes to break the world record for the fastest time to play a concert in each of the 50 states.
It’s an interesting concept since the current record-holder is popular local duo Pocket Vinyl.
Allman, the son of Gregg Allman, is associated with the band Royal Southern Brotherhood while Frankenreiter, in addition to having several of his own solo albums, is a former professional surfer.
