Arts Cafe Mystic announces spring season
The Arts Café Mystic poetry and music series, celebrating its 30th anniversary, has announced the lineup for the spring season.
On March 15, Major Jackson, winner of the 2023 Academy of American Poets Fellowship and author of the recent “Razzle Dazzle: New & Selected Poems,” will headline.
Rhode Island Poet Laureate Tina Cane is featured April 26 along with the annual “Youth Will Be Served” readings from local high school poet laureates.
On May 31, Marie Howe, author of five collections including this year’s “New and Selected Poems” and a recipient of NEA and Guggenheim fellowships, will read.
Arts Café Mystic events take place in the La Grua Center, 32 Water St., Stonington. Admission is $15. Visit theartscafemystic.org for more information.
