The Wood Brothers, coming Friday to the United Theatre in Westerly, is an excellent roots music trio whose Grammy-nominated work – as per their “Heart is a Hero” and “Kingdom in My Mind” albums -- reflects priorities of songcraft and instrumental/vocal dexterity rather than studio gimmickry and shallow formulae.
