Tour New London’s historic churches

New London Landmarks will host a family-friendly walking tour of three historic churches on Saturday at 1 p.m. with live music at each church. The tour starts at St. Sophia’s Church at 200 Hempstead St. in New London. After St. Sophia’s, the group will visit St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, 10 Huntington St., and St. James Episcopal Church, 76 Federal St.

Tickets are $15 ($10 for members) and can be purchased by credit card up to one day before the event online or by cash or check at the door. The tour will take place rain or shine. For more information, call (860) 442-0003 or visit www.newlondonlandmarks.org.

A reception at New London Landmarks, 49 Washington St., will follow the tour.
