It can be said that the personal journey of life is just a collaboration between past and present versions of ourselves. Each and every past choice we have made and experience we share with others presents a new version of ourselves.
The concept of this new exhibition, titled “Abstract Deep” is composed of two series, “After All.” and “Growing up” – a collaboration of words and artworks Johanna Champlin wrote and recently finished. Her art represents a permanent record of an impermanent her.
Feel a sense of rebirth and renaissance in this new exhibition, “Abstract Deep,” a solo exhibition by Connecticut-based artist, Johanna Champlin. Who knows, maybe a new version of yourself will emerge out of this exhibition?
Opening reception will be on Friday, November 18th from 7 PM – 10 PM. The exhibit will be on display until Friday, December 23rd.
Hygienic’s annual holiday show, Art=Gift 2022 is back! This year’s show features handcrafted, affordable art by local and regional artists.
All selected participating artists will personally receive invitations to submit special pieces with gift-giving in mind. All works must be priced to be especially affordable for the holiday season.
Art=Gift includes a wide array of exquisite art including, but not limited to: Paintings, Prints, Photography, Glass Art, Jewelry, Hand-printed T-shirts, Knitted Garments, Drawings, Wood-Turning, Holiday Cards, and Ornaments.
