HOW TO: SUBMIT AN EVENT
Saturday and Sunday, April 15th, 10a-4p and 16th, 10a-3p – Two Day Beginner Workshop!
Not sure if stained glass is for you? This is a perfect opportunity for those with little or no experience working with stained glass. You will construct a beautiful, colorful art glass strip panel while learning the techniques of the Tiffany copper foil method of construction. You will learn to score, grind, foil, and solder glass, frame and finish an entire piece in this 2-day workshop. You will bring home a panel suitable for gift-giving or hanging in a window. Glass and materials are included in the price. You’ll choose from a large selection of art glass and cut it to fit the pattern provided. Finished panels are up to 20” long.
Please Note: No open-toed shoes, please. Sufficient hand strength and dexterity are needed for scoring glass. Must be able to stand for extended periods while working with tools.

Intermediate- Please have basic sewing skills (Must be comfortable doing a straight stitch on a sewing machine).

“Hoot for Hunger” is a musical event to raise money for the New London Community Meal Center. It’s a free event with a “Pass the bucket” donation system. All proceeds go to the meal center.
