      Experience the beautiful Mystic shoreline community at the Mystic Half Marathon and 10K! Enjoy scenic views for 13.1 or 6.2 miles, running from Olde Mistick Village, past historic ships, through the charming downtown with race finish at Mystic Aquarium.

      All participants receive a short sleeve technical shirt and a custom designed finisher medal in this year’s much-anticipated signature race theme. After the finish, enjoy a stroll through picturesque Mystic and take advantage of some great discounts!

      Children ages two through eleven can take part in the HMF FitKids Run at 9:30 am. There is a ¼ mile and ½ mile option most appropriate for the child’s age.

      New in 2023 – Take on the Crabby Challenge! Run either distance in Mystic in addition to any distance at the L+M Summer Stride 5K & 10K on July 15; and at the Surftown Half Marathon, Relay & 5K on September 10 to earn the special Crabby Challenge medal.
      HMF is proud to continue our support of the Rotary Club of Mystic as the charity partner of the Mystic Half & 10K. The Rotary Club is dedicated to making a positive impact on the greater Mystic area through an annual scholarship program, local grants program and international efforts.

      These 12-pointed stars are created from a centuries-old polyhedron design adapted to make beautiful glass ornaments. Perfect for home decor and gift-giving, they are made to be hung and are quite elegant, suspended as a single star or in a cluster. Finished stars measure approx. 5 inches in diameter.

      Please note: This class is for experienced glass crafters. Participants in this workshop must have previously completed 2 stained glass classes at Spark Makerspace and MUST be competent in scoring glass, copper foiling, and soldering. These prerequisite skills are not covered in this class. Sufficient hand strength and dexterity are required as well as standing for extended periods while working with tools.

      The New London Motorcycle Club proudly presents our annual “Blessing on the Waterfront” to be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the New London Waterfront Park in New London, CT. Gates open at 11am and the blessing takes place at 2pm. Admission is $10 (donations help support the New London Covenant Shelter, Waterford Country School and Malta, Inc.). Join us for a large collection of vendors, food trucks and a live band for the duration of the event. Enjoy the New London waterfront area and visit the many businesses in downtown New London.
