The Connecticut River Museum is proud to host Sensory-Friendly Hours. Reserve your space today! Thanks to a generous grant from The Petit Family Foundation, we are able to offer sensory-friendly items during the visit, including beanbag chairs and fidget toys.
Exhibits with loud noises and/or bright lights are modified to allow people with a range of abilities to experience all the Museum has to offer. A designated quiet room is set up for the duration of the event to allow visitors to decompress, take a break, and experience the Museum at their own pace.
Preview guides and materials for families to read together before visiting are available below.
To reserve your spot please visit the link: https://ctrivermuseum.org/events/sensory-friendly-day/.
