    Mystic Seaport Museum and ‘What Lurks Beneath’

    Mystic Seaport Museum hosts “What Lurks Beneath.)

    Mystic Seaport Museum is marking the Halloween season with tours telling tales of sailors confronting sea creatures, Kraken-inspired tentacles making their way onto the Charles W. Morgan, and more.

    The event is dubbed “What Lurks Beneath,” and it begins Friday.

    Visitors can wander through the new exhibition “Spineless: A Glass Menagerie of Blaschka Marin Invertebrates” and see marine specimens from the museum’s collection.

    Kids can make a sea monster or mermaid craft or take home a card with historic sea monster illustrations.
