The Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Old Lyme gets into the holiday spirit with its Holiday Enchantment and Tree Lighting on Saturday.

What does that include? Let’s see: art demonstrations, as you might expect, but also music — from the Old Lyme Town Band and from the Lyme-Old Lyme High School Select Singers, and holiday crafting led by Academy artists. Don’t worry if you’re hungry; there will be food and drinks by the fire and a S’mores Galore station with coffee and hot cocoa.

And of course Santa will be on hand, ready to visit with children and to pose for photos.

The site’s art store, de Gerenday’s Fine Art Materials and Curiosities, will feature jewelry by Ann Lightfoot, and the Academy’s exhibition “An Artist’s Eye” is on view in the Chauncey-Stillman Gallery.

The tree lighting will be at 4:30 p.m., with former First Selectman Tim Griswold leading the event, and community caroling will follow.

Holiday Enchantment and Tree Lighting, 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, 84 Lyme St., Old Lyme; lymeacademy.edu.
