      RiverQuest departs from the Connecticut River Museum for early spring cruises.

      Pass by bald eagle nesting territories, where there should be eagles nearby. Most of the osprey have returned from their wintering grounds and will either be nesting or very busy with their “nestorations”!

      43rd Annual Connecticut Storytelling Festival & Conference

      Join the Connecticut Storytelling Center for a weekend of enchantment this April as they explore the power of storytelling to inspire, educate, and unite the community.
      Performances of personal narratives, folk traditions, and historical portrayals, as well as hands-on workshops are all scheduled for this multifaceted event.
      The two-day festival will be taking place in several downtown locations, including:
      ● All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation (Jay St.)
      ● The Thames Club (State St.)
      ● Public Library of New London (Huntington St.)
