Twirling the concepts of light and air with the media of porcelain and paper, artist Pat Smith presents "Touching Points," a new exhibit at the Cooley Gallery in Old Lyme. She literally stitches together various elements to reflect moods through color tones, washes and textures. The show includes "curtains" of paper work, familiar ceramic vessels and objects, watercolor sketches and paintbook journals.
