The Lyme Art Association celebrates the season with a trio of exhibitions

The Lyme Art Association is hosting three shows for this year’s holiday season.

In the exhibition “Deck the Walls,” visitors will discover an array of fine art in various themes, sizes and mediums in this uplifting show that returns each year during the holidays, in time for gift giving. The juror is Alonzo Clarke, a New Hampshire based artist who is a Signature Member of the New England Watercolor Society.

Artists explore the relationship to the environment in “Our Fragile Planet,” considering both the beauty and fragility of the world. The juror is Mark Shasha, award-winning artist, author of the beloved “Night of the Moonjellies“ and educator.

Finally, artist Catherine Puccio’s solo show “All Things Great and Small” features her love for animals and her pursuit of truth in nature. Puccio, who won first place in last January’s Associate Artist show at the Lyme Art Association, is now being honored for her award with this special exhibition.

All three shows are on view through Dec. 31. The association, located at 90 Lyme St., is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wed.-Sun. and by appointment. Visit www.lymeartassociation.org or call (860) 434-7802.
