I’m an omnivorous soul, but I dined with a vegan friend earlier this spring at the plant-based restaurant P.S. Kitchen in Manhattan, and it was a happy experience. I wasn’t completely sure what the heck I was eating — something involving hearts of palm cake and spinach and potato mash and lemon aioli, I think — but I can tell you it was delicious. And, for New York, the prices aren’t outrageous; for dinner, most dishes are in the teens or low 20s. P.S. Kitchen is near the theater district — conveniently located for stage fans. I’m heading to the Big City again soon, and, yup, I’m planning on eating at P.S. Kitchen.
