The Groton Public Library is seeking items for its display cases. In the past, vintage lunch boxes, holiday ornaments, teapots and teacups, lighthouses, key chains, cameos, stethoscopes, Elvis memorabilia and dolls have been placed on display.
Artists also may use the display cases to exhibit their work. The cases also can be used by nonprofit groups.
The collections are displayed in locked glass cases. Rare, fragile and high value items are discouraged. Contact Barbara Candler at bcandler@groton-ct.gov or (860) 441-6750 if you have a collection you would like to share with the public.
Comment threads are monitored for 48 hours after publication and then closed.
