    Middletown - The Fitch High School boys' swimming team took a chance when it went all out to win the 200-yard medley relay at the Eastern Connecticut Conference championships almost two weeks ago.After all, with the state meet on the horizon, the Falcons could have chosen to save themselves.

    None of it mattered.Fitch had more than enough energy to impact that event and others at Thursday's CIAC Class M swimming and diving championships at Wesleyan University. Emmett Dignan won two individual races and the team set five school records.
