New London High School completed its nonleague schedule with a game against 21-time state champion and last year's Class LL runner-up Hillhouse of New Haven in the Hall of Fame Classic in Springfield, Mass. on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 12:30 p.m.

The Whalers, last season's Class L runner-up, will also play North Kingstown, last year's Division I runner-up in Rhode Island, at the Community College of Rhode Island on Jan. 8 at 4 p.m.

The rest of New London's nonleague schedule includes East Lyme, St. Raphael (Pawtucket, R.I.), Hartford Public, Harding of Bridgeport and Stratford, which defeated New London, 51-47 in last year's Class L title game and finished as the state's No. 1 ranked team.
