NFA's Velles to play at Div. I St. Peter's

Norwich – Norwich Free Academy senior girls’ basketball player Alyssa Velles has accepted a scholarship to play basketball at Division I St. Peter’s University.

Velles, the Most Valuable Player of the 2012 Eastern Connecticut Conference Tournament, will play for coach Patty Coyle, the former coach of the New York Liberty.
