Wrong is wrong, even for New London police officer

"Citizens should back officers like Nott," read a Jan. 13 letter. I strongly disagree. A live video shows Officer Deanna Nott punching a man in his face with her fist while his hands are handcuffed behind his back. I think this is absolutely unacceptable police behavior and should require suspension and loss of pay and perhaps a desk job. She does not represent the others in New London's dedicated police department and her actions are not permitted in law enforcement.
