In praising Green New Deal, Day editorial was 'thinking dumb'

How can The Day via their editorial, “Green New Deal: Thinking big, thinking forward” (Feb. 16), consider this thinking forward? Doesn’t the writer know what it entails? Or they don’t care?

Banning cows that will eliminate meat and dairy products from our diet is moving forward? Thinking forward?

Banning planes and cars and building railroads over oceans is thinking forward?

Banning fossil fuels that keep our factories and plants running and create jobs is thinking forward? How do you run a country when there is no wind or sunshine?

Letting everyone think that everything is free, like Medicare for all, school tuitions, etc., which will be paid for by higher taxes on everyone is thinking forward?

The New Green Deal is not thinking big, it's thinking dumb.

And who’ll pay for revamping every building; you?
