Respect enemy dead, preserve Confederate memorials

I am very tired of hearing the words racism and slavery. This has become ridiculous. Also, no one had the right to take down Confederate statues and take their flags away. The Confederate flag was a battle flag for which soldiers fought, were wounded and died. Don’t paint everybody and everything with a broad brush.
