Vote Pero and Catala for New London Board of Education
The New London school board has had some issues with being transparent and making sure the public is aware of district expenses. There have been too many flavors of the day curriculums used costing the district millions of dollars. To name a few, the Teach to One math program and the Literacy Collaborative literacy program. Both programs are no longer being used, the money wasted.
I am excited to see that Jason Catala is again running for the Board of Education. He has a proven record of demanding accountability in all departments.
Another candidate I support is Rob Pero. Rob has been a solid city councilor in the recent past and I am super excited he is running for the Board of Education. He will bring the experience needed to work with the new superintendent to keep the momentum going since she has been in district.
On Election Day the choices are clear; Catala and Pero for the New London Board of Education.
