Make a statement, install wind turbines along shore
Concerning green energy in Connecticut, we'll know that Governor Lamont is serious about green energy when he proposes wind turbines where Connecticut has the best wind power resource − in Long Island Sound, running the entire length of the state. (See U.S. Department of Energy National Renewable Energy Laboratory Connecticut 50m Wind Power map.)
It's all well and good to propose offshore wind where no one will see it, quite another to address the climate change emergency with clean energy where we can all see it. That's really making a statement.
