I am encouraged by the interest and attention residents are paying to this year’s municipal elections. Over 200 people attended the recent selectperson debate. I encourage residents that did not attend the debate to watch it on The Day’s or town’s website.

My vote for first selectperson will not be based on party affiliation or gender but rather by qualification and experience.

Sandra Gauthier has over 30 years of management and financial experience working in the banking industry and has a master’s degree in business administration. Sandra has relevant municipal experience having served on the Board of Finance and Board of Education. Sandra has also spent the past year meeting with department heads and attending board and commission meetings learning the details of issues facing the town.
