Trump not a divider, the news media is

As I read letters to The Day telling how President Trump divides the country, I see that the reporting in this newspaper and by the mass media on the president has, for the past three years, been about 90 percent negative. I don't see any positive reporting on him at all and I feel that is a big divider for this country.

I also see, under his leadership, the country is doing very well economically, trying to make better trade deals with countries, provide better military equipment and give tax cuts for all.I see much resistance from the Democratic Party about the immigration issues on the southern border, which is a crisis they ignore.

Any divisions, I feel, are coming from negative reporting only. Newspapers and the national news media should report both sides at the same time. Let's be fair, not one sided.
