For the readers of The Day who believe Lee Elci is just another mouthpiece for the Trump Administration: that could not be further from the truth. Even though he said this week he likes what our president has done for the economy and America First objectives, he has often expressed his displeasure with the president. I have heard him call Trump “stupid” at times on air.

Politics are not all of his content. Sports, music, history, human interest, etc. are also topics. Every caller has a voice. Various politicians from both sides are welcomed whenever they ask. Lee asks respectful questions to get all sides of a topic.

He does definitely have opinions that he shares with the listeners, but he does not require anyone to agree with him.

If you want to get a sense of who Lee is, instead of jumping to conclusions of conservatives equals bad, please listen to the six hours he devoted on June 12 related to race relations, community policing and economic disparity, etc. He blew through a contracted two-hour syndicated national radio show when he realized there was a need for the conversation to continue.
