Groton should learn from state how to repave roads
State Sen. Heather Somers, Groton Town Council, and Town Manager John Burt − Route 27 is how a road should be paved!
I want to take this opportunity to comment on the State of Connecticut, which worked with Aquarion to repave Route 27 in front of the Mystic Seaport. This is how repaving should be completed. The state knows what they are doing.
Meanwhile, the repaving on Pearl Street, Gravel Street, neglect on Bindloss and River Road continues. The difference? Getting those who know how to get the job done and done right involved.
Sen. Somers, Mr. Burt, and the Groton Town Council need to spend 10 minutes and compare the job done on Route 27 to our local roads.
You are all a disgrace.
