Please better display the good-news stories

The June 9 article headlined, “Harvard-Bound Senior Asks That $40K Scholarship Be Given to Students Going to Community College” was printed below the fold on the Region section. This tremendous gesture by high school senior Verda Tetteh should have been given a more prominent location. All of the bad news items get the headlines and it would be nice to see such an uplifting story be given better exposure.
There are so many wonderful people out there with generous qualities. This fine student is just one example. I am sure that Day readers would love to read about more people with kindness to share.
