In response to the editorial, “Patrons share the blame for long DMV lines,” (Aug. 25), it is important to remember that the digital divide still exists in southeastern Connecticut - there are thousands of people who do not have access to computers so they cannot take advantage of the enhanced online resources of the DMV. Here is where your local public library steps in and steps up. All our libraries provide free Internet access - mornings, evenings, weekends - and staff to help those in need.
