Trump lacks direction of a moral compass
I have a suggestion for Donald Trump, with all the wealth he ought to buy himself a moral compass.
In a presidential debate, he said he didn’t pay income tax in the two years we have records for because, “He is smart.” He may well be smart but he is also a free loader.
As Trevor Noah said on the Daily Show, “Paying taxes is a duty, not something to evade.”
He also defended his rooting for the housing bubble to burst by saying, “It’s called business.” Well it is a kind of business but certainly not an ethical one.
He also lamely defended not paying people he did business with.
On second thought, Trump would never let a little thing like ethics get in his way. Besides, you can’t buy a moral compass. You either have it or you don’t.
