Hey you in Hartford; why don't you care?

How can you explain a logic of tax more to spend more? Sure, other states are struggling, but they don't have two casinos shoveling money to them on a monthly basis. Can you explain how with the millions of dollars received from two casinos that you still can't make it work?

How much more can the taxpayers bear? Will you be satisfied when all the small businesses are gone and only chain stores remain? My family doesn't have 120 locations in 15 states to spread the pain. You're killing us! You're crippling the economy and the only people who will retire here are the ones who can't leave. Bless the ones with the over inflated pensions that you can't manage either. Even they know it's not sustainable and smart enough to move to where it's not taxed so much. The burden on running the state is on you. What you forget is that the burden of paying for it is always on us.

We are the ones who say "sorry, no middle school sports" or "no more field trips." You throw all kinds of mandates down for education but when it comes to funding them you point to towns.

You don’t care about us. It is so evident it's disgraceful.
