Colbert got it right, our Siberian Candidate

There is an obvious similarity between the presidency of Donald Trump and the novel “The Manchurian Candidate” by Richard Condon. In the fictional story, American soldiers are captured fighting the Korean War. Then they are brainwashed and hypnotized by communist agents to later effect a plot to get a communist agent elected POTUS, so that the foreign communists can control the U.S. government. This story is a real thriller. It ends happily for us Americans when the election plot just barely fails.

In the real world happy endings cannot just be written. We currently have an actual president called by Stephen Colbert “The Siberian Candidate” − Get it? Even most of the Fox News personalities severely criticized Trump following his disgraceful news conference with Vladimir Putin on July 16, where Trump acted like Vlad’s puppet.

All American Intelligence agencies, and Putin, confirm that Russian agents worked to influence the 2016 American election to favor supplicant Trump versus tough Hillary Clinton. As the Mueller investigation produces more and more indictments of Russian agents and arrests, indictments and guilty pleas from Trump campaign officials, it seems increasingly likely there was a Russia/Trump campaign conspiracy. Based on his record for lying, when Trump says “no collusion” it sounds more likely there was collusion.
