In Montville, Pike gets 'strong' endorsement of state rep

As a 25-year resident of Montville and a retired Navy veteran, Councilor Wills Pike is exactly the leader that Montville residents need serving them on the Town Council. Currently serving as Town Council vice chair, Finance Committee chair and Board of Education liaison, Pike has provided consistent and principled leadership by recovering over $2 million in delinquent property taxes and working with fellow councilors to develop constructive solutions to improve town government.

Under Pike’s leadership, the council approved budgets with the lowest two-year mill rate increase in over a decade, while providing the highest education funding in over 11 years and creating dedicated capital funding for Montville schools at the highest level in 35 years, ensuring financial support to maintain the quality education of Montville students.

Over the past two years, Pike has always sought to build consensus and ensure decisions were made with accurate information, which has included numerous conversations to validate state statute requirements and budget status, thereby ensuring precise town budgets.

I strongly endorse Wills Pike for re-election to a second term on the Montville Town Council.

    Mike France

    State Representative, 42nd District

    Ledyard
