Working for children in a troubled time

With April being Child Abuse Prevention Month, as well as Volunteer Month in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is especially necessary to take this time to do what we can to help those who may not have the capacity to do so themselves. That is why the staff and volunteers of Children in Placement, CT Inc. are working extensively to do all that we can to support the communities around Connecticut during this unprecedented time.

We’ve been helping Connecticut’s most vulnerable youth by standing beside them through court trials, motions, and hearings, and acting in whatever capacity they need for as long as it takes to find the care they deserve, striving to ensure every child in need has a safe and permanent home. We are authorized to provide volunteer court appointed child advocates serving in court as Guardians ad Litem for children who, through no fault of their own find themselves in the cross hairs of the child welfare and judicial systems.

It is vital to take these matters into serious consideration, especially during these dismaying times. With COVID-19 being the current main source of distress today, do what you can to take action and help children and families in need. Stay home, Stay Safe! (The  Board and Staff of Children in Placement.)
