America we knew no longer exists

The COVID pandemic tells us a lot about the U.S. citizenry of the 21st century. The medical aspect, lives lost, suffering and harm to our children aside, the pandemic highlights a new America. No longer are we a robust or innovative risk-taking people, or a nation destined to control our own destiny or self-govern. Many looked to the government to take care of things, not realizing, or caring that the government was part of the problem. Federally and locally, we fund large, blotted bureaucracies whose task is to plan, forecast and mitigate problems. Most failed to do so and many compounded the problem through indecision, contradiction, manipulation, and incompetence. Even facing a pandemic, a common enemy, the nation could not rally together nor collectively work to beat this enemy. The Republicans hid under their desks, happy to go along to get along; that is if their routine and lifestyle were not impacted. The Democrats saw it as just another crisis to exploit.

America no longer exists. We have no language, no culture, no boundaries, no sovereignty. We are lawless with riots in our cities. Children are taught only our flaws. Media manipulators erase our history. Independent thinking and expression are crushed by cancel culture.
