The column by Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post writes that and I quote, "Joe Biden channels Harry Truman - to his party’s delight," (Aug. 31). I challenge that assessment.

President Truman desegregated the armed forces. Joe Biden said that any Democrat that did not support voters’ rights were in his words, a George Wallace, Jefferson Davis, and I will add a Strom Thurmond Democrat. This was a bill that was failed to begin with.

Harry Truman said the buck stops here. Biden says more bucks equal less inflation, what! The Democrats used to be the party of the working man (and woman), no more. Now they are the party of open borders, spend then tax rather than tax and then spend. A party of elitists who care nothing for hard-working citizens.

A president who calls 73 million plus voters semi-fascists, shame on him. He has been a career politician for almost 50 years and will say anything to stay in office.
