Nick Menapace is the right choice for the 37th District. In talking to Nick, it is clear he understands the issues which are important to us. One of those issues is the high cost of living in Connecticut. There are many things that contribute to the high cost of living in this state, things such as ever-increasing utility bills, high gas prices, housing costs, to name a few. However, the out-of-control cost of health care can be disastrous if one is not lucky enough to have excellent insurance coverage. Nick realizes that health care prices continue to sky-rocket because a few hospital groups have eliminated competitive pricing by buying up all the local doctor offices and taking over all the local hospitals. This consolidation of health care into the hands of a few hospitals only increases the cost of getting health care, and the cost of health insurance (in addition to greedy insurance companies).

Nick wants to stop this growing trend. Health care should be affordable for everyone. A health crisis should not wipe out your life savings. A vote for Nick will put a voice in Hartford to keep health care costs down.
