The headline, "Niantic looks to Mystic as business role model,” (Oct. 8), does not make sense. Nowhere in the article does anyone from Niantic express that thought. The people quoted are from Mystic and they want to expand into Niantic. The 1997 "East Lyme Charette Report" by the Yale Urban Design Workshop quotes a preponderance of people who said they did not want Niantic to be another Mystic. The report is available at Town Hall and at the East Lyme library. While we welcome the new businesses from Mystic, we certainly do not want to be like Mystic with all the problems mentioned in your article.
