    Menapace will address affordable housing

I urge voters in the 37th House district to vote for Nick Menapace to represent them in the state legislature.

Over the years I have seen that too many of our legislators are not in touch with the concerns of average working families. Nick Menapace is a teacher and understands the importance of providing the resources for our schools to prepare the next generation for a world many of us cannot even imagine. He sees and shares the challenges of living in an area where there is not enough housing available, and even less housing that people can afford. I am not talking about just families that are struggling with minimum wage jobs. We need housing for teachers, police officers, health care workers and hospitality workers. There is more the legislature could do on this issue, and Menapace will be active in seeking solutions.

In addition, Menapace sees the problems people have with access to healthcare, especially with the cost of prescription medications, and supports taking action to address the challenges posed by climate change.

Menapace would bring a fresh, grounded perspective to Hartford.
