    Support Norwich school proposal

As an individual who never lost touch with education, it is disheartening to learn about the current integrity of Norwich’s schools. Issues with broken down boilers, classroom sizes and some windows that cannot open properly are just a few things that are being negatively experienced by teachers and students alike.

This is not what the Rose City is all about. Our city should and must be the cornerstone of vibrancy. When new families and businesses come into our city, they want to see a functioning school district that is performing at outstanding levels, both in student academics and structural design. They want to see a city that cares deeply about their students and teachers, and not a city that brings disservice. And with education being the linchpin of economic development, it is vital for us to help revolutionize our school district and have it be the best for years to come.

I had a great education since I arrived in Norwich. I want what is best for them and for our city collectively.

I encourage everyone to vote ‘YES’ on the school bond proposal on Nov. 8.
