Kathleen McCarty has been a consistent advocate for the residents of Waterford while serving as state Representative. She has worked tirelessly and voted to support education, the environment and women’s health issues.

Nick Gauthier states that he has moderate political views. His radical views and record on the RTM prove otherwise. He chose to spread misinformation on a municipal energy upgrade which triggered a costly referendum. Thankfully, voters rejected his position. Nick does not work in a bipartisan manner.

On Oct. 12, 2022, Dan Radin claimed to be the “sole unaffiliated member” of the RTM. He ran with the Democrats in 2021 and has consistently voted with them on important matters before the RTM. His staunch support of Gauthier and claims that Gauthier has “moderate, progressive, clear policy proposals across a broad range of topics” strongly suggest that his affiliation is not neutral.

Representative McCarty will continue to work tirelessly at the state level on behalf of Waterford and our region. Replacing her with the inconsistent, radical views of Gauthier would be a bad idea and costly for our district. For these reasons, Kathleen McCarty has my support on Nov. 8.
