I am confused. I saw the other night that a woman was being charged for causing a miscarriage. I have also seen other reports of mothers being charged who after giving birth abandon their newborn in an unsafe place. I do not understand the difference between these mothers and those that choose abortion. This is infanticide, pure and simple. The fact remains that when a woman becomes pregnant that fetus is a human being, her own child. What else could a fetus be?

That child has the same right to live as the mother. Why do we insist on denying this fact and promoting abortion? The only "choice" a woman has is to not get pregnant but once she is she must consider that the child has a right to live either with her or someone else. There are plenty of options today for the care of both mother and child. No mother should end the life of her own child. Nor should anyone else.
