    Voters don’t support these ideas

I am amazed at the numerous bills our Connecticut legislature is considering voting on. (For example: the Pequot River bill, extending alcohol drinking to 4 a.m., and selling wine in supermarkets). Bills, I believe, the majority of Connecticut citizens would not approve of or support.

But our elected reps need funding for reelection. And now, we have these bills to vote on. By these bills affecting all Connecticut citizens, I believe these bills should be placed on a referendum so all Connecticut citizens can vote on these bills. I am alarmed that a lot of bills/laws being passed by both our U.S. and Connecticut representatives are not supported by the majority of the people. I believe in the long run it will have an impact on our democracy.
