I am requesting that The Day suspend its online commenting options on all articles. The commenters are abusing this service. There are only 10 to 15 loyal commenters, and they are trapped in a years-long back and forth with each other. The Day's online Comments Section is a reflection of our community. Frankly, it is embarrassing. These "truthers" on both sides of the partisan aisle are doing nothing with their personal time and are only adding hostility and bitterness to our community. I would like to think more highly of my neighbors and the residents of SECT. I believe The Day can help out with that by disabling the Comments Section on their website.
