I'm outraged with The Day. Today is September 11. Was there an article of tribute above the fold on page one? NO. Was there an article of tribute below the fold on page one? NO. There were two articles on page 6, which in my opinion did not pay proper tribute to the 2977 people lost on that fateful day.

Since then the number of first responders and others who have lost their lives to illnesses related to 9/11 is almost equal to those who died on that day. There were 343 firefighters who died during the attack. There have been 341 firefighters and other first responders and civilians who have died from 9/11 related illness since then. You would think someone on The Day news staff could have constructed a memorial article to that fact, but I guess they had better things to report on. The Day, proud to be an American? I think not.
