As a Democratic member of the East Lyme Board of Education. I wholeheartedly support Dan Cunningham for First Selectman of East Lyme. Dan has shown unwavering commitment to our community and our thriving schools. Dan's passion for community involvement is shown by his years on the Board of Selectmen and 27-year career as a local attorney. He knows our citizens, understands our unique needs and is deeply invested in our collective success. His support for our schools shines brightly. As a parent of four East Lyme graduates, husband to a former East Lyme teacher and the attorney coach for East Lyme High School’s mock trial team for 21 years, he advocates for our students' well-being.

In a time when some are more focused on divisive issues, Dan remains steadfast in advocating for our students' well-being and knows that education is an investment in our future. In these challenging times, his commitment to our town's betterment stands as a beacon of hope.
