    Bunnell a positive force for Montville

    Councilman Lenny Bunnell, a resident of Montville for 53 years, is running as a Democratic candidate for mayor in the upcoming election. Bunnell is a retired Montville police officer. He has worked for the Montville Police Department since 1977. He started part-time and then joined the Montville Police Force in 1981 full-time. In 1985, he was promoted to corporal. He became sergeant in 1996, and then lieutenant in 2003. Bunnell retired from the police department in 2018, after 22 years as the Montville Police Department Administrator and 41 years at the Montville Police Department. Bunnell is running for mayor to continue serving our town. Lenny Bunnell has continuously assisted our community as a Montville Town Councilman since 2019. During his tenure, Bunnell has contributed to the Volunteer Firefighters Relief Committee, Youth Services, Parks and Recreation, Economic Development and the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee. Bunnell had a vital role in the new Public Safety Building coming in under budget. Bunnell is hardworking, determined and cares about the people of our town. Bunnell is a positive force in the Town of Montville. Please vote for Lenny.
