I, too, would like to know what other sites were under consideration for a new police station in Norwich, as a reader recently suggested. I am curious if enclosing/retro-fitting the upper floors of the Intermodal Parking Center is feasible? Parking is already in place on the ground floor, but I do understand that the inability to exit right is problematic. My understanding is that the edifice has not lived up to its desired potential: perhaps this could be a solution? (There is already another parking garage at the end of Main Street.) I agree that the need for a new police station is long overdue, but I cannot support it at the proposed location in Norwichtown.
